By attending MyEO events, you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with fellow University attendees before the programme starts, allow you to meet local EO Sydney members and explore the area in a completely unique way. To participate in most of the MyEO tours, you need to arrive early.

Pre-University Tours

MyEO Game Fishing on BlackRat at EO Sydney University

Dates: 4 different dates

Location: BlackRat

Come game fishing on BlackRat, a 30-foot Blackwatch game fishing boat, heading offshore from Sydney. While out you will be targeting Striped and Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi, and if lucky, we might even see some Yellow Fin Tuna. No experience or gear is required. This is an all-day event and is weather dependent. There are 4 days available:

MyEO Wild Women Who Walk @ EO Sydney University

Location: Meet on wharf side of Museum of Contemporary Art

Arrival on 26 November is required to participate.

Join the Sydney MyEO group - Wild Women Who Walk before the Sydney University for a leisurely walk and talk around our beautiful Sydney Harbour - we will begin on the wharf side of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) and walk around the foreshore past the Botanical Gardens to "Lady Macquaries Chair " and back - around 5km return ... finishing with a coffee at the MCA.

Open to all EO Women members, SLPs, Staff, Next Gen and Strategic Alliance Partners - Come meet us before Sydney University begins. The walk is free however, the group may stop for coffee / brunch afterwards.

MyEO Sundowners & Sandals: A Tenured Toast by the Tide at Sydney University

This is an exclusive invitation to honor and celebrate our tenured members. We invite you to join us on Hans and Suzy's balcony in North Bondi.

An opportunity to unwind, reconnect with old friends and make new ones as we watch the sun go down.

Hors d'oeuvres will be served alongside a selection of drinks (cocktails, champagne, wine and beer).

Enjoy a run around Sydney Harbour at your own pace with your fellow EOers at EO Sydney University. Take in the sights on foot as we run around the harbour foreshore and surrounding parks before a big day of learning.


MyEO Bondi Walking Tour at Sydney University

Location: Bondi Beach Walk

Join Jahan Kalantar from EO Sydney as we explore iconic Bondi Beach together. We will take a walk along the sunny shore and checking out some of the most iconic views in Sydney. This is a free family friendly event (although please ensure that anybody attending is comfortable walking about 5km) as we explore and check out the most scenic beach in the world. Jahan will share some secrets about the beach, show you some of the best sights around and help you understand why locals love Bondi. Bring your swimmers if you feel like attending a post-walk swim and a few dollars to grab a coffee or sweetie. It is important to note that people must make their own arrangements to go to the beach and return to town afterwards.

MyEO Wild Women Who Walk @ EO Sydney University

Location: Circular Quay - Taronga Zoo Wharf - Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay Walk

Finish your EO Sydney University experience with a "walk and talk" with the EO community of women. Enjoy a fabulous ferry ride on our beautiful harbour before beginning our walk at Taronga Zoo. After walking around the harbour foreshore through Eucalypt forests for some of the best views of the bridge and Opera house, we will proceed to Chowder Bay for coffee or brunch and then return to the city by ferry.

Please bring your walking shoes as the boardwalks can be a little uneven on this walk and some coffee or brunch money, as well as money to purchase your ferry ticket. Open to EO Women members, SLP's, staff, and Next Gen.


MyEO Taronga Zoo Family Walkabout Tour at Sydney University

Location: Taronga Zoo

This family event is organized for after EO Sydney University. It will involve an afternoon at Sydney's beautiful Taronga Zoo. Here, you will experience an Australian Walkabout Tour to see and learn about Australian animals. The tour cost includes entry into the zoo, so after your hour-long tour, you can stroll around the zoo to see the amazing animals. If there is enough interest in this experience we will book a private lawn in the zoo, so that EOers can exclusively enjoy & mingle with other EO families. This will be an additional cost depending on how many families participate.
