DUBROVNIK PRE-TOURS
Cooking class in Kameni Dvori, Konavle – Dubrovnik Pre-Tour
After arrival, we introduce the participants to the hosts and share the details of the cooking class program. Once the meal plan is shared, we go to the kitchen and describe the steps required to achieve the final dishes. We outline all the ingredients that we need for the meals. The first step is making homemade bread and each participant will knead their own bread. While the bread rises, we go to our garden and pick the necessary ingredients and gather fresh eggs.
After we return to the kitchen, we will teach the participants how to make a delicious Croatian meal with the freshly picked ingredients. We will prepare our traditional Lovorno skewer (meat on bay leaf sticks) in addition to other Croatian favorites. If participants would like, they can also experience milking the neighbor’s goat.
While the food is cooking, a wine tasting is offered and, the hosts will proudly share the stories of their 500-year family tree. Finally, all participants will enjoy in the meal they’ve worked hard to prepare. Bon appetit!

Konavle biking & wine tasting – Dubrovnik Pre-Tour
Upon arrival, the excursion starts at the village Gruda in Konavle. We will ride our bikes down the small village roads that run across the lively Konavle region. The trail takes us through orchards, cornfields, vineyards, blueberry fields. We also cross the bridges of Ljuta and Konavočica Rivers. The main route is easy to cycle on, quite flat with just few short climbs. More experienced cyclists can arrange a more challenging route with their tour guide upon meeting.
Occasional short breaks are taken for describing the historical and natural characteristics of the Konavle region (like visit to Franciscan monastery, old mill in Ljuta village, and waterfalls of river Ljuta). During our breaks, we will refresh ourselves with snack and water.
Winding down small village roads, we return to Gruda at Dubrovnik wine cellars, where guests can taste and buy famous wines produced from local grapes.
- Distance between start position and finish point: 15 km
- Biking equipment: Garry Fisher and Cube Aim 26 and 29 bikes, helmets.
- Equipment & staff: All equipment used is registered and certified at EU. All of our professional guides are registered under Croatian mountain rescue service.
- Fitness level: A low level of fitness is required and previous experience is not necessary.
- There are few toilet facilities available during the biking tour.

SPLIT POST-TOURS
Excursion to Plitvice Lakes National Park – Split Post-Tour
Plitvice Lakes National Park is Croatia’s most popular tourist attraction and was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979. The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen lakes, inter-connected by a series of waterfalls, and set in a deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species. The National Park covers a total area of 300 square kilometers, whilst the lakes join together over a distance of eight kilometers.
Starting point is at the north entrance of the park (Entrance 1). Sightseeing is circular, and includes a walk through the limestone canyon of the “Lower Lakes”, an electric-boat ride across the largest of the Plitvice lakes – Lake “Kozjak”, a panoramic train ride, and a walk along the top of the canyon’s east side all the way back to starting point at “Entrance 1”. You will also see the impressive “Great Waterfall” and the “Sastavci” waterfalls, the beautiful dark blue lakes of “Novakovića Brod”, “Kaluđerovac”, “Gavanovac” and “Milanovac”, as well as the vastness of Lake Kozjak. Duration of this route is up to 3 hours / 4 km. Possible to extend the route to Upper Lakes (4 to 5 hours, 8 km)
