Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

One of EO’s most sought after programs, Key Executive Program (KEP) has gone international! Entrepreneurs’ Organization is pleased to announce that in addition to the existing Key Executive Program, we are now offering a new program, KEP International, which expands on EO’s global mindset to provide more members access to our premiere Executive Education benefits.

WHAT: KEP International shares a similar vision as the original program, and also offers members and up to four of their key executives a holistic, diverse and reflective experience with an international speaker set.

WHERE: The idyllic and historic venue, the Ashridge House, centrally located just 30 minutes outside of London, offers sweeping views that will inspire you to open your mind and contemplate you and your team’s next big business move.

WHEN: KEP International will take place 1-4 April 2020.

WHO: KEP International is open to EO members and their key executives. The capacity is 80 attendees – which includes members and key executives. Each EO member must bring at least 1 key executive and no more than 4 key executives.

HOW MUCH: The registration fee is US$3500/person. The EO member must be in good standing at the time of the event. If member status changes between the time of registration and the start of the event, the cancellation policy applies.

HOW TO REGISTER: Registration begins 15 October 2019. To register, you must proceed to the event website here. The registration link appears based on the schedule listed below for your region. A. Air transportation, pre- and post-event ground transportation, gratuities, alcoholic beverages, in-room dining, and miscellaneous personal incidentals.

Q. Can I use my Global Event Voucher?

A. Absolutely! Members who joined EO on or after 1 April 2017 are eligible to use their global event voucher for the KEP International learning program. To apply the global event voucher to your registration fees, check “yes” during registration. The US$500 will automatically be deducted from your balance.

Q. Will I be staying at a hotel?

A. All attendees will be staying onsite at the Ashridge House for the duration of the program, 1-4 April 2020. You may view the accommodations here.

Q. Can I stay at a different hotel than the Ashridge House?

If you choose to stay at a different hotel, it is completely user pay and the registration fee stays the same. You will also be responsible for travel to/from the Ashridge House each day.

Q. What is the Cancellation Policy?

A. See table below:

KEP International Program cancellation policy
Date cancelled Non-refundable fee Refund
On or before 18 December 2019 US$100 per person Balance, less the US$100non-refundable cancellation fee

On or after 25 December 2019 100% of total registration fee(s) No refund

Q. How do I cancel my registration?

A. All cancellations must be communicated in writing and are processed according to the date they are received at EO headquarters. All refunds at the time of the cancellation will be based upon the above policy.

Q. Are there any exceptions to the cancellation policy?

A. Exceptions to the cancellation policy are only granted in the case of a death in the immediate family (spouse or partner, children, parents, siblings) or for an emergency medical situation involving the member/guest, spouse or partner, or legal dependent. The member must provide written documentation from a doctor certifying that the member/guest has a medical emergency that bars travel. If the request is made by 18 December 2019, a refund less the US$100 non-refundable fee per person may be granted. If the request is made after 19 December 2019, a refund less 50% of registration fees per person may be granted. No exceptions will be made for other personal or business reasons. All written documentation and supporting documents must be received by one week after the program referenced to be considered for refund.

Q. Can I transfer my spot to another EO member in good standing if I cannot attend?

A. Sure! A cancelling attendee can transfer his/her spot to another EO member in good standing. The cancelling member and the replacing member can choose to facilitate the monetary exchange themselves to avoid transaction fees. EO will transfer the registration once notification has been received from the selling member and a registration form has been received by the purchasing member. If the cancelling attendee chooses not to transfer funds directly with the replacing member, EO will facilitate the transfer and refund the money, less a US$100 transaction fee. The replacing member should contact [email protected] to register and send payment information.

Q. Can I sign up on the waitlist if the program is sold out?

A. Of course! The link to the waitlist is made visible automatically once all the seats are taken and can be found on the event website here.

Q. The website says that the event is already sold out. Can you explain the registration process and if I should sign up for the waitlist?

A. For the first 24 hours that registration opens, we offer regional registrations in an effort to allow all regions to register in a timely manner. Regional registration blocks remain open for 24 hours for each respective region, and once all regional registrations have had 24 hours to register, we open the remaining seats to those who missed their region and are on the KEP waitlist. This event sold out quite quickly, and remains sold out as of this morning, with many waiting to register for an available seat. We do often receive cancellations, and we recommend that you join.

Q. I’ve registered for KEPi. What’s next?

A. Congratulations! We’re excited you’re a part of the KEPi progam! You may expect to hear from a member of the learning team within 48 hours regarding further details of the program.

Q. I need a visa to attend this program. Can you help with that?

A. EO members are responsible for arranging their own travel in a timely manner for attendance at EO events—including, but not limited to, all immigration- and visa-related costs and paperwork. If you fail to receive the appropriate approvals to enter a country in which you have purchased a registration, you will be subject to EO cancellation policies.

EO takes no responsibility for acquiring or monitoring the status of a visa for any member. EO can support you in your quest for immigration approval by providing the following:

  • Letters of invitation;
  • Hotel confirmation numbers (where applicable);
  • Connections to the chapter members via the chapter administrator

EO cannot:

  • Sponsor members;
  • Guarantee costs or other monetary-related paperwork;
  • Liaise with ministries, immigration, embassies or consulates on behalf of any member

If you require a sponsorship for entry into a country, you assume all risk associated with registering for the event prior to getting approval and finding sponsors. EO cancellation policies apply. EO members are required to find other EO member sponsors on their own, including using eonetwork.org or through the EO chapter hosting the event. EO staff will not broker sponsorships.

Q. What is the best airport to fly to?

A. We recommend that you fly into Gatwick Airport (90 minutes by car) or Heathrow Airport (60 minutes by car).

Q. Since Ashridge House is 60 – 90 minutes away from the airport, what is the best way to get there?

A. The best ground transportation methods are either by car or train. Please see the best routes from several different locations on the event website here. Please note that these directions are the simplest routes, but not necessarily the shortest. In-car satellite navigation systems may not agree with all the routes and you are advised to print a copy of the Ashridge map which shows preferred routes with a red arrow. If you need any help finding Ashridge House, please phone: 01442 843491.
