San Francisco City Hall

The crown jewel of the national historic landmark Civic Center district, San Francisco City Hall opened to the public in 1915 after the original was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake. Inside the monumental beaux-arts dome, the impressive rotunda of San Francisco City Hall serves as a significant historical landmark where visitors can explore and reflect on the successes and scandal that have occurred there. In addition to the hard work over the years to bring wealth and prosperity to the city of San Francisco, many important milestones were made underneath this famous Baroque dome, including the union of Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio, the first same sex marriage licenses in the US, and a number of shocking political plots. We will mingle and dine in the rotunda while being entertained by live music performed on the incredible grand marble staircase.

Dress Code: Formal / Chic

Note: The setting for City Hall is traditional, warm and elegant. Adding a dapper touch to your outfit will suit the venue well. Ladies can plan to wear a fashionable dress or pants and men will fare well in a handsome suit and dress shirt.

The Regency Ballroom

With over 100 years of memorable performances, the Regency Ballroom is a shining example of San Francisco’s longstanding affinity for music. We will celebrate San Francisco’s love of music during a lively retro-vibe concert with lots of “flower power.” Munch on your favorite comfort foods and dance the night away.

Dress Code: Casual / Comfortable

Note: Tonight is your night for color! Show off your favorite 1960-70’s clothes – the brighter your clothes and the bigger your hair, the better! Please dress comfortably so you are able to move around the venue and dance with ease. Dresses with flowy layers and light tops with jeans would work for the ladies. Jeans and t-shirts or button up shirts with retro patterns for the men – bell bottoms are welcomed and encouraged for all!

Alcatraz and San Francisco Belle Cruise

We couldn’t bring you to San Francisco without an EO-style private tour of “The Rock.” We will depart Pier 33 to Alcatraz Island, where the legendary federal penitentiary housed some of America’s most notorious criminals from 1934-1963. Walk the dark, mysterious halls and peer into the former cells of Al “Scarface” Capone and “Birdman” Robert Stroud. After the tour of Alcatraz, we’ll board the San Francisco Belle, a Louisiana paddleboat, for a dinner reception with a view. We will close out the University with a cruise through the bay, under the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and past the beautiful city skyline. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes! A DJ will lure us all to the roof deck to dance under the stars.

Dress Code: Black & White Chic / Comfortable

Note: The dress code is black and white chic. While we want you to have fun with your outfit choices, make sure you’re prepared for the one hour walking tour (including a hill to get to the top) on Alcatraz Island. Loafers, boat shoes, stylish flats, wedges will all be appropriate. You’ll need layers as the wind can whip around The Rock and the bay, making it quite chilly. Be playful with your black and/or white attire – solids, patterns, stripes on dresses, jumpsuits, blazers, shirts, white khakis or jeans and more.

Important Notes:

• Buses will leave from the Palace Hotel between 6:00-6:15 p.m. with the last bus departing the hotel at 6:15 p.m. sharp. After a short ride to the ferry location, you’ll take a 10-15 minute ferry to Alcatraz Island for an exclusive visit to the “The Rock.”
• Please don’t take a taxi or Uber to the pier as we are required to board as a group. If you do not make the bus to the pier, you will not be able to join the evening social as the access to the Island and the boat is private and highly limited.
• After you’ve toured Alcatraz, you’ll board the San Francisco Belle for dinner directly from Alcatraz. The Belle will depart at 8:30 p.m. You will not be able to return to hotel or mainland after the tour and skip the Belle dinner.
• You’ll disembark the San Francisco Belle at 10:30 p.m. and return to the Palace Hotel by approximately 11 p.m., earlier returns won’t be possible.

歴史的建造物であるシビックセンター地区の歴史的建造物であるサンフランシスコ市庁は、1906年の地震で原型が破壊された後、1915年に公開されました。記念碑的なボザール様式のドームの中で、印象的なサンフランシスコ市庁で、観光客はそこで発生した成功とスキャンダルを分かる重要な歴史的ランドマークとして機能します。サンフランシスコ市に富と繁栄をもたらした長年の努力に加えて、この有名なバロック様式のドームの下で、Marilyn MonroociaeとJoe DiMaggioのアメリカで始めての同性結婚をクピカするなど、様々な衝撃的な政治プロットが決定されました。グランドな大理石の階段を使って生演奏を楽しみながら、円形庭園でソーシャルを実施します。

注）市庁は伝統的で暖かく優雅です。オシャレな服装でイベントをより楽しめます。女性はファッショナブルなドレスやズボンを着用し、男性はハンサムなスーツとドレスシャツでお願いします。

100年以上の歴史をもっているリージェンシーボールルームは、サンフランシスコの音楽に対する長い親近感の示しています。サンフランシスコの「Flower Power」を盛り込んだ、活気にあふれたレトロな雰囲気のコンサートで、サンフランシスコの音楽愛を楽しめます。

注）今夜はカラーの夜です！ あなたのお気に入りの1960-70の服を見せてください！服は明るく、髪は大きくなればなるほど良いです！ 快適に服を着て、会場を移動して楽しく踊れるように、楽な服装をお勧めします。 女性は柔らかいドレイヤーのドレスやライトトップとジーンズで結構です。 男性はジーンズ、Tシャツ、メンズレトロなパターンのボタンシャツ等でお願いします。ベルのボトムは歓迎で、奨励します！

アルカトラズ島とサンフランシスコベルクルーズ

EOスタイルの「The Rock」のプライベートツアーなしではサンフランシスコにお連れできません。Pier 33を出発し、1934-1963年のアメリカの最も悪名高い犯罪者の一部を収容していたアルカトラズ島に向かいます。ダークで神秘的なホールとピアを、Al “Scarface” Caponeと “Birdman” Robert Stroudのセルを歩きましょう。アルカトラズ島のツアーの後、ルイジアナのパドルボートであるサンフランシスコ・ベル（San Francisco Belle）を移動し、ディナーレセプションを開催します。湾を通って象徴的なゴールデンゲートブリッジの下、そして美しい街のスカイラインを過ぎてクルーズでユニバーシティの幕を閉じます。ダンスシューズを持参してください！ DJは皆様をデッキに誘い、星空の下で踊ります。
