Explore Hawaiʻi Out and About

Immerse yourself in the heart of Honolulu with curated excursions designed especially for EO spouses and life partners (SLPs), as well as GLC attendees who are not otherwise involved in Chapter Officer Training (COT).

While COT sessions are in progress, spouses, life partners, and members who are not engaged in training are invited to enjoy offsite experiences and make meaningful connections ‘Out and About’, beyond our main event venue. Immerse yourself in the beauty and spirit of Hawaiʻi, while you explore some of the island’s iconic landmarks and experience Honolulu’s rich culture together.

New for 2025

One optional, complimentary, Out and About excursion is included in the registration of each EO Spouse, Life Partner, and Members not engaged in training. Additional user-paid activities will also be available during COT sessions.

Important Information:

  • Eligibility: Open only to registered attendees and their SLPs/guests.
  • COT Participation: Members in COT must attend assigned programming and cannot join these activities.
  • Ticket Policy: Registrations are non-refundable but transferable to another registered attendee or SLP.
  • Minimum Participation: Activities must meet a minimum number of participants by Saturday 15 March 2025, or they will be canceled and refunded.
  • Weather: Activities take place rain or shine, with adjustments made as needed.

The activities below will be available on both 3 April and 4 April:

OPTION 1

Pearl Harbor Tour Day

The Pearl Harbor Tour Day offers an immersive experience that educates visitors about one of the most significant events of World War II.

The tour begins at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center on the island of Oʻahu, where exhibits and films provide insights into the events leading up to the events of 7 December 1941.

At the Center, visitors can also view artifacts, including photographs and personal items recovered from the wreckage.

The tour includes admission to the USS Battleship Missouri, upon which the surrender documents that ended World War II were signed in Tokyo Bay.

Price: $160 USD
Includes: Transportation, English-speaking guide, and admission tickets
Time Commitment: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

OPTION 2

Pearl Harbor (Short Tour)

The Pearl Harbor (Short Tour) offers a concise, yet impactful, experience at Pearl Harbor.

The tour begins at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, featuring educational exhibits and displays, and includes a visit to the USS Arizona Memorial.

Price: $65 USD
Includes: Transportation, English-speaking guide, and admission tickets
Time Commitment: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

OPTION 3

The Kingdom of  Hawaiʻi Tour

The scenic Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout is a must-visit destination in Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. This guided tour takes you on a picturesque drive through winding mountain roads, offering breathtaking views of lush greenery and panoramic landscapes.

Along the way, learn about the history and cultural significance of the Pali Lookout, including the famous battle where King Kamehameha’s forces triumphed over the warriors of Maui, uniting the Hawaiian Islands.

At the lookout, enjoy spectacular views of the Windward Coast from an elevation of 1,200 feet above sea level.

The tour also includes a journey through historic downtown Honolulu, with stops for photo opportunities at ʻIolani Palace and the iconic King Kamehameha Statue.
