Global Leadership Conference (April 28 – May 1) – We are truly sorry to announce that 2020 Global Learning Conference (GLC) and GSEA Finals have been cancelled. Due to the major uncertainties our diverse, global membership and staff face with the unpredictable spread of COVID-19, we cannot ensure a positive and healthy event experience for all. We must stay focused on our top priority: the health and safety of our members and staff and their respective families. For more information, contact [email protected].

Dear member leaders,

EO is at a pivotal point as an organization and we need you to be a part of it. On behalf of Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s Board of Directors and professional staff, I would like to invite you to the 2020 Global Leadership Conference (GLC), which will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, from 28 April to 1 May.

We have made great progress since last year’s GLC where we challenged ourselves to reimagine EO. We can be proud of what we have achieved together.

But the world evolves and changes at a rapid pace, these external changes impel us to change, too. As our members’ needs grow and evolve, we – as EO – must innovate and develop new and improved ways of meeting these needs.

Over the past year, I have been working with my fellow board members and the staff team to support Jason Sze in developing a new strategic plan for EO. At every step along the way, we have consulted member leaders who serve on our regional councils, chapter leaders and our broader membership. I have just returned from a Global Board meeting in Cairo where we reviewed the draft strategic plan and the brand story we are developing. We will be reviewing and refining these at the Chapter Presidents’ Meetings in January.

At 2020 GLC, we will be introducing the new strategic plan, new brand positioning and a fresh visual identity for the organization. They will better reflect who we are, what we want to achieve and where we want to be in the future.

But the hard work does not stop there – all of us who have stepped up to be member leaders from 1 July 2020 are tasked with bringing the new strategic plan to life.

Your time, energy and passion is helping EO make a positive impact in your chapter, your community and around the world. GLC is your opportunity to help us shape the new EO as we set our direction for the future, and to connect, learn and grow with peers from over 60 countries and 196 chapters. We hope you will join us in sharing your leadership story and inspiring fellow members with your personal experiences.

Nelson Mandela said, “We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference.” This resonates strongly with EO. As leaders, the future of EO is in our hands.
