Welcome

“EO…the entrepreneurs’ frontier. These are the voyages of the global board. Its three-year mission: to explore strange new cities, to seek out new cultures and new members, to boldly go where no entrepreneur has gone before.

This is the Entrepreneurs’ Organization!”

Welcome to the 2019 Global Leadership Conference! On behalf of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, I’d like to invite you to our flagship leadership event, 12 – 15 April 2019 in Macau, China.

As we rapidly approach the next decade of 2020, I am especially excited that both members and member leaders will now be able to join us for the most widely attended EO event of the year, because on this occasion I will be asking you to live our Core Value to “Boldly Go” and “Re-imagine EO.”

To remain on the leading edge, EO must evolve at the speed of the universe. Nothing should be taken for granted and everything must be consistently re-evaluated. I ask that you attend this year’s GLC with curious mindset and eyes wide open for opportunities for EO to grow and evolve.

With that in mind, I’m delighted to invite you to join me at the inaugural GLC Macau Learning Day on Sunday, April 14. GLC is expanding beyond leadership training by adding a one-day education event similar in content and pace to the popular EO Universities. Members not in leadership positions can join EO leaders who are attending GLC for chapter officer training for this groundbreaking day of learning. GLC Macau Learning Day will include two social events, two keynote speakers, panel discussions, presentations and EO’s version of TED Talks, EO Talks. You may register and find out more about the GLC Macau Learning Day.

Where better to open your imagination and your innovative spirit than in Macau, a city known for its adaptability and freedom? You’ll find a mix of Portuguese and Chinese cultures dating back to its time as a colony of the Portuguese Empire. Not only gaming, but art festivals, auto racing, fireworks and beautifully preserved historic buildings give Macau its blend of excitement and enchantment. Dining in Macau is a unique experience, with a synthesis of Cantonese and Portuguese origins that make the Macanese cuisine one of a kind in the world.

Please come join me in Macau this year to take full advantage of the leadership education and the unparalleled opportunities to learn from your peers and feel their energy and excitement in one venue. Tracks are refreshed annually to ensure that you are fully prepared for your leadership position in EO. What you learn at GLC will benefit you well beyond your volunteer work with EO – you will find take-aways that can positively influence your personal and professional lives, as well.

At the 2019 GLC in Macau, the organizing committee promises you will work hard, play hard, and leave with friendships that will last a lifetime. Let’s celebrate together in Macau!

Yours Respectfully,

Jason Sze
