As a young child growing up in Piedmont, Carmelo Greco was already fascinated with cooking. After years of improving his cooking skills at two-star restaurant Da Guido in Costigliole d’Asti, Greco came to Germany and proved to have plenty more to offer than Pizza Quattro Stagioni and Spaghetti Bolognese. In 2011, Greco’s restaurant “Carmelo Greco” was awarded a Michelin-star and in 2014, it was named “best foreign restaurant” in Germany.

Carmelo Greco wants his guests to feel comfortable and spend a thoroughly enjoyable evening in his 48 seat restaurant. Grey and gold colors dominate the scene and an indirect lightning concept contributes to the elegant and cozy atmosphere. The eye-catchers are the walk-in wine cooler with more than 1200 bottles of red wine and the zinc bar in the entrance area that was tailor-made in France. Through the small and intimate smokers lounge, guests can reach the outdoor terrace.

Carmelo Greco’s style of cooking is dedicated to the refinement and reinterpretation of classic Italian recipes. The dishes aim to surprise the guests and simply taste good.

MyEO Dinner

[:en][:en][:en][:en][:en]Registration Deadline: 9 April

Schloss Vollrads, one of the oldest wineries in Germany, is situated above Oestrich-Winkel in the Rheingau, attractively nestled in the midst of this cultivated landscape. The residential tower of the Riesling wine estate is visible from afar as it stands above the building complex and the vineyards.

Here, the Barons of Greiffenclau, old members of the nobility in Lorraine, began cultivating grapes and trading wine more than 800 years ago. All 80 hectares of vineyards around Schloss Vollrads descend down to the Rhine in a southerly direction. So Schloß Vollrads has the best condition to make unique and authentic wines.

Today Schloss Vollrads is a modern, outward-looking winery but its also famous for it lovingly prepared regional and international cuisine. We will start the evening with a reception at cavalier house, followed by a 3 course dinner paired with the best Riesling wines Schloß Vollrads has to offer. Pampered and primed, our bus brings us back to Frankfurt.

At lunchtime, the gastronomic concept of the Holbein’s offers a special business lunch menu as well as sushi, wok creations, salads and dishes of the day. The extensive offer also includes simple but delicate snacks, such as pastrami sandwiches or a special homemade sausage creation. The menu will please the museum visitor just the same as the guest during their business lunch. Mouth-watering French and Austrian delicacies made by the in-house patisserie add the crowning touch to every visit.

In the afternoon, the sweetness of life can be enjoyed with a coffee and the famous homemade cakes, until our kitchen staff starts the evening by giving free rein to their culinary passion and winning the heart of every gourmet. Stanley Diamond

Price: US$95.00
MyEO Dinner

[:en][:en][:en]Registration Deadline: 9 April

DJ Oskar Melzer and nightlife impresarios David and James Ardinast have cemented their credentials as restaurateurs with Stanley Diamond, a fine-dining restaurant in Frankfurt’s libertarian central station district. Intriguingly named after a New York Mafioso associate, the venue was designed by local architects Hollin and Radoske and designer Paul Bauer, who used exotic materials such as green Indian marble and rose-pink concrete to achieve textural contrast and warmth.

Stanley Diamond – a gorgeous atmosphere located in a new building – looks straight out of a 1960s movie, with dark green marble wall that’s hugging the dining room and bar. The restaurant is serving casual fine dining in a casual yet luxurious space. It’s been their goal to create an accessible and easy restaurant that serves creative and contemporary food linked to recent history.

The food has a touch of the sentimental about it too, with regional specialties like plaice Finkenwerder (plaice fried with bacon) served alongside comforting classics such as Osso Bucco and the owners’ acclaimed pastrami from their first restaurant, Maxie Eisen.

The restaurant is situated in the town of Königstein im Taunus close to the city of Frankfurt. Sebastian Prüßmann will be the new head chef of the Restaurant Villa Rothschild and will succeed Christian Eckhardt who has been head chef for more than three years.

A revised dining concept that focuses on the conscious use of produce and combines paleo cuisine flavors with Ayurvedic accents will also offer sustainable cuisine of the highest standard. ‘Fine dining & health’ will be the new credo for the restaurant. The menus have been written and the dishes already tried and true. Despite the official start for 36-year-old Prüßmann is not until April 2017, the former Rothschild family summer residence on Frankfurt’s doorstep is already seeing his ideas shape the new concept on many fronts. “Cooking for the sheer enjoyment, offering diners in the restaurant a visual experience of the preparation, and following an entirely independent and sustainable approach that has the pleasures of healthy dining at its core,” is how the Leverkusen-born chef describes his new challenge.
