Dine-Arounds

Experience the warmth of Jordanian hospitality during an evening that will highlight both Amman and EO. Spend an evening with the EO Jordan members as your hosts inside their homes. Dine-Arounds provide all Exploration attendees with the opportunity to create lasting connections in a relaxed setting, while offering a glimpse into the life of a local Jordanian and their delicious cuisine.

Dress Code: Smart Casual/Chic

Note: You’ll be invited to an intimate dinner inside the home of an EO Jordan member. As it is the opening night and you may want to be comfortable after traveling, there is no need to wear lavish attire. However, adding a dapper touch to your outfit to impress your local hosts is welcome!

Sun City Camp

Known for its history and importance as a camel trade route to the Arabian Peninsula, the Wadi Rum desert, also known as the “Valley of the Moon,” provides a grand backdrop for a genuine Bedouin lifestyle. The nomadic residents of Jordan’s majestic deserts are famous for their genuine, inviting hospitality to friends, new and old, and will host us during our stay in Wadi Rum. On the 2nd night of the Exploration, we will experience life as a Bedouin – eating meats, rice and vegetables baked under sand and in metal domed boxes over the fire. Our space will be set with traditional tents, rugs and lounge sets surrounding glowing fire pits.

Dress Code: Smart Casual/Comfortable

Note: We will be arriving to Sun City Camp directly from our daylong tour in Petra; your individual accommodations in Sun City will have showers to refresh. We will be dining in the open desert and you’ll be encouraged to try eating with your hands, so make sure you wear clothes that can sustain the elements, as well as comfortable shoes.

Friday, 2 March

Sunset Arena, Movenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea

Step back in time during our dinner in the Roman Amphitheater at the Movenpick Dead Sea next door to our main Dead Sea hotel, the Kempinski. Enjoy traditional street fare from food stalls while being guarded by an ancient Roman Army. Explore the sights, sounds and scents from stalls overflowing with chicken shawarma, Arabic BBQ, and saj with plenty of za’atar. Don’t forget to check out the live kunafa station!

Dress Code: Smart Casual/Chic

Note: The Movenpick is a short walk from the Kempinski; please come and go at your leisure to enjoy the evening with the group as you wish. This will be a relatively casual evening, meant to experience the street market environment. Please wear comfortable shoes for the walk.

Saturday, 3 March

Lemon Garden, Kempinksi Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea

After a day of relaxation and spiritual enlightenment, we will close out the Exploration with a spectacular Jordanian garden party. Join us in the Lemon Garden, the serene pool and garden space at the Resense Spa. The evening will present delicious surprises in an elegant setting overlooking the Dead Sea. And of course, it wouldn’t be an EO Global event without a good dance party; prepare to groove to the sounds of a favorite local DJ.

Dress Code: White Party/Chic

Note: This is the night to dress to impress in your brightest, whitest outfit for this special occasion–-white dresses, jumpsuits, blazers, shirts, white khakis or jeans and more. Heels will fit the dress code but do keep in mind that the night is hosted in a garden of stones and grass, so wedges would be best.
