Welcome to "ONE,” the 2010 EO Latin-American/Caribbean Conference that will enhance the symbiotic relationship we have with our planet.
For more than two decades Costa Rica has been developing a vision built around how we treat our planet, our communities and ONE another. The importance of this vision has never been more relevant— we are now more aware of the planet’s environmental challenges and the responsibility that each ONE of us has to ensure that future generations get to enjoy the ONE planet we have.
ONE will give you an experience that is aligned with EO’s values and EO United, the organization’s FY2009/2010 theme. Simultaneously, and in tune with the vision of Costa Rica, ONE intends to be a “green” conference; we will do everything possible to avoid leaving behind carbon footprints. In fact, part of your registration fee will go to a Costa Rican government agency that manages reforestation programs, and you will receive a certificate that your participation in the conference was carbon neutral. What’s more, most of the conference materials will be recycled or recyclable products, and the environment will play an important role in your learning program.
ONE will help you quench your THIRST FOR LEARNING with top-ranked international and local speakers, all of whom will provide you with valuable lessons, both from a business and an environmental perspective.
ONE will show the environment the same TRUST AND RESPECT that EO members share with each other, all while you will learn and grow with your peers in Costa Rica.
ONE will show you COOL speakers, off-site activities and venues for our socials and after-hours, as well as a wide array of adventure possibilities for your pre- and post-event activities. The possibilities include water rafting, rappelling down waterfalls, zip lining through a forest at 50 mph, standing at the edge of active volcanoes, mountain biking, scuba diving, kite surfing ... and whatever else drives your adrenaline.

ONE will also help you MAKE A MARK in Costa Rica by creating an EO natural reserve within a government-protected area, and it will ensure that our conference does not leave behind an environmental mark or footprint.
