Opening Dinner at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World

Thailand is rich in culture and flavor and one of the best ways to experience both is certainly through Thai cuisine. On the opening night of GLC, we will embrace the tastes of Thailand as we experience culinary traditions from the four main regions of the country. We’ll begin the evening with a Thai food parade—an endless sea of servers will float along showcasing mesmerizing dances while serving the first course from the four regions. Be sure to take the time to network with other EO members from across the world and prepare yourself for another full day of learning.

The evening will be a buffet dinner, with sit-down seating for all members and spouses. (Is your spouse registered? If not, sign up here.)

Dress Code: From 45 countries, we’ll come together to celebrate EO. We invite you to proudly come dressed in traditional formal wear of your home country to display the diversity within EO. This is open to your imagination and interpretation, so don’t immediately think tuxedos and suits. For example, someone from Texas might wear a bolo tie and cowboy hat; or maybe you’re from a more casual region where formalwear is your nicest pair of jeans; or you may be from a country with an official national dress. We look forward to seeing how diverse the group looks and how you show what this dress code means to you! Didn’t pack something? You can always try something Thai!

Farewell Party at Central World Square

Experience an extra taste of Thailand as we celebrate the closing of GLC with a festival celebration. Indulge in typical Thai games, entertainment and other festivities while dining on local street food from various vendors. Just as the locals enjoy their community festivals, we’ll enjoy the evening outside under the moon. Enjoy this EO party in the heart of Bangkok and cheer to the end of a successful GLC! Central World is walking distance from all official GLC hotels.

Dress Code: Casual. Wear your pha khao ma that you picked up at EO registration! We’ll be outside, so dress accordingly to enjoy this exclusive Thai evening! (Shorts, t-shirts, and flip-flops.)
